If you’re an avid twitter user you may have already noticed a new campaign #NeverMoreNeeded, which is intended to gain public support for the work the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector is doing during the pandemic.

The campaign is the second phase of #EveryDayCounts, which called on the government to provide an emergency financial support package for the sector after the National Council for Voluntary Organisations estimated that the sector would lose out on more than £4bn as a result of the coronavirus crisis..

By using the hashtag, the sector will be able to show the public and Government just how valuable the sector’s services and activities are, and that the right support needs to be in place so that we don’t lose these vital resources within our communities.

We’re joining the campaign by posting about our activities and services during the pandemic and we’re asking you to support the campaign too. You can get involved by using the hashtag #NeverMoreNeeded in your tweets and social media posts about what you’re doing in your local communities.
