Apply to the Community Ownership Fund
The government’s Community Ownership Fund has now been expanded, meaning that even more community projects will be able to apply for funding through the scheme.
The fund, now worth £150m, helps community groups buy or renovate assets that would otherwise be lost to the community. These can include community centres, galleries, museums, post offices, pubs, shops and leisure facilities.
The asset must offer value to local people and community groups must be able to demonstrate that they can run it sustainably for the long term.
