VCSE Health Inequalities Small Grants Fund

The VCSE Health Inequalities Small Grants Fund is now closed for applications. We will soon be updating this website and sharing the outcome of the grant funding.

What we want to achieve

The aim of the VCSE Health Inequalities Small Grants Fund is to reduce health inequalities in York. To achieve this, we want to fund Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations in York to deliver projects that support people in their local communities, to reduce health inequalities through early intervention and prevention.

The type of work we want to fund

To achieve the aims of the fund, you must be able to meet the following: 

  • Working with one or more of the identified priority groups (see application form)
    and 
  • The project activity MUST focus on one of the following areas:

  • Community groups and clubs; charities and other not-for-profits operating (or will be operating) in York.

  • Read ‘How we will assess applications’ information 
  • Complete the eligibility checklist section of the application form as soon as possible to give you time to seek help if you need it
