Role description:
Community Sparks is an inclusive community group offering creative and social opportunities for adults with additional needs. As a Community Sparks Volunteer, you will support members by engaging them in activities, providing encouragement, and fostering a welcoming environment. On Tuesdays, you will help with creative and social activities, while on Thursdays, you will assist in running an all-inclusive disco. This is a great role for those passionate about inclusivity, creativity, and making a positive impact in the community.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
• Friendly, patient, and supportive
• Enthusiastic about working with adults with additional needs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to engage in a range of creative and social activities
