The Stop Loan Sharks Community Fund is now open for applications. With up to £4,000 available per project, this fund supports community initiatives that raise awareness of the dangers of illegal lending. The funding is made available by the England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) using money recovered from convicted loan sharks. Projects must align with the fund’s five key criteria: Innovative, Engaging, Effective, Enduring and Value for Money.
Who can apply
Eligible applicants include residents’ groups, charities, private companies, social enterprises, community and voluntary groups, schools and statutory agencies based in North Yorkshire, Kirklees, East Riding, Humberside, North Lincolnshire and West Yorkshire.
Funds available
Up to £4,000 per project.
