About the fund
The Aviva Community Fund helps local projects that make a real difference. It offers grants of up to £50,000 for projects that support climate action and financial wellbeing. Funding is open all year round, so you can apply when your project is ready.

Who can apply?
The fund is open to charities, community interest companies (CICs), and social enterprises across the UK. Whether you’re working on a small idea or a big programme, the fund aims to help you create long-lasting change in your community.

Funding priorities
Your project should fit one or more of the following themes:

  • Financial Wellbeing: helping people take control of their wellbeing by giving them the tools to be more financially independent and ready for anything
  • Climate Action: Promoting healthy, thriving communities by preventing, preparing for and protecting against the impacts of climate change

Application process
Applications are open year-round. When you apply, you’ll be asked to set up a fundraising page and share your project’s story. Aviva’s staff and customers will be able to pledge their support to help you reach your funding goal. The fund matches donations up to the value of your grant request.

Funds available
Aviva will match each donation you receive up to £250. This means that if someone gives £5, we’ll double it to £10. If they give £250, we’ll match it, so the cause gets £500. Organisations can receive up to £50,000 in match funding and eligible causes can apply at any time.
