Role description:
This flexible role is available for those who would like to volunteer on an ad hoc basis at a variety of events and activities across York.
We are looking for people with a passion to help York Mind make a real difference to local people. Opportunities could include bucket Collecting, event support, marshaling, event planning, and awareness stands.
As part of the Fundraising Volunteer Team you will be invited to a volunteer induction about York Mind and receive a monthly update email with a list of all the upcoming opportunities available.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Willingness and desire to engage with members of the general public
Confident conducting bucket collections and handling cash
Willingness to use technology to take donations
Ability to support with event set up and take down (not essential but desirable)
Will there be a DBS check? No
Driving Licence required? No
Volunteer's own vehicle required? No
