Role description:
On Thursday evenings RAY runs a fortnightly Sports Club for secondary school age young people from refugee, asylum seeker and migrant backgrounds.

RAY’s youth services provide opportunities for our young service users to socialise, take part in activities and try new things with the aim of improving their well-being and confidence.

Sports Club Volunteers attend sessions to support RAY’s Youth & Children’s Coordinator and our young service users to ensure sessions run smoothly and the young people have a positive experience when they attend.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
 Excellent communication skills
 Self-initiative
 An understanding of the needs of young people
 In interest and willingness to participate in sports
 Passionate about the role and aims of RAY

Driving Licence required? No
