Organisations in York can apply for up to £5,000 from a £40,000 fund to run Warm Places this winter.  Applications are open until Sunday 5 October.

Eligible projects offer a Warm Place at least two hours a week, offering hot drinks, refreshments or meals, company, and support for those struggling with heating or isolation.

Grants can help cover food, equipment, and heating costs.

Projects are encouraged to: provide advice on reducing bills, accessing key services, improving wellbeing, reducing loneliness, and strengthening community ties.
