The York Citywide Volunteering Quality Mark is awarded based on the information, evidence, and assurances provided by the applying organisation at the time of assessment. York CVS does not accept responsibility for any changes in an organisation’s practices, policies, or volunteer experience after the Quality Mark has been issued.

 

The York Citywide Volunteering Quality Mark does not constitute an endorsement of all activities undertaken by the organisation, nor does it guarantee the ongoing quality, safety, or suitability of its volunteering opportunities. Organisations are responsible for maintaining compliance with the York Citywide Volunteering Pledge and the principles of good-quality volunteering.

 

York CVS reserves the right to review, suspend, or withdraw the Quality Mark should concerns arise or if an organisation no longer meets the required standards. Volunteers and members of the public are encouraged to make their own enquiries before committing to any volunteering role.
