When are volunteers needed: Flexible, our meetings are usually 6 times a year on an evening and an annual AGM on a Saturday. Volunteering activities can be done at a time to suit the volunteer.

Role description:
Want to Make a Real Difference?
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join our Board of Trustees as volunteers. You’ll get to share your ideas, skills, and passion to help our organisation support the amazing work done in our members’ respective communities.

What’s Involved
• Help steer the charity and make sure we’re on track to reach our goals.
• Join in on Board meetings (usually every 6 weeks face to face or via Zoom).
• Get involved in important decisions and help set and achieve our direction.
• Spread the word about what we do and stand for.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Who We’d Love to Have
• People who care about Village and Community buildings and our Mission. Happy to come and give us some of their time.
• If you know about charity work, being a treasurer/ finance, digital marketing, law, communication, or fundraising, that’s a bonus—but it’s not required.
• Good communicators and team players, someone who gets the job done.
• Honest people with good judgement and a friendly attitude.
