Counselling Manager (Job Share)

York Women's Counselling Service is looking for an experienced and collaborative Counselling Manager to join our team in a job-share leadership role.
This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a well-established counselling service that supports women across York and the surrounding area. Working alongside our existing Counselling Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our counselling service remains safe, ethical, responsive and person-centred.
About the Role
This is a new role, created to support the expansion of our service. As a Counselling Manager, you'll support and develop our team of qualified and trainee volunteer counsellors, oversee client journeys, contribute to safeguarding leadership, and work closely with our other Counselling Manager, Director and Trustees to continually strengthen our service.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, working collaboratively, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on support for both clients and volunteers.

Salary: £29,546 – £31,346 FTE (pro rata) | Job type: Part time | Hours: Up to 15 hours per week (job share), across 2-3 days.
