What is the fund for?
The fund supports community-led renewable energy projects that benefit local areas. It aims to:

Help communities generate income through renewable energy and reinvest locally

Advance the government’s renewable energy generation targets
-
Promote community-owned renewable schemes
-
Encourage growth and job creation linked to renewable energy projects
How much is available?

Feasibility Grant: Up to £40,000 for early-stage projects to cover consultancy and professional costs for feasibility studies.

Development Grant: Up to £100,000 for projects with a strong chance of securing planning permission, to support detailed investigations, legal fees, environmental assessments, planning applications, and business plan development.
