The Good Place, Warm Place Fund supports community organisations across York to provide warm, safe and welcoming spaces for local people during the colder months.
A total of £40,000 is available to support organisations already running, or planning to run, Warm Places. These spaces provide somewhere for people to keep warm, connect with others and access practical information and support with the cost of living.
Funding can help organisations start, extend or improve their Warm Place provision and can contribute towards costs such as food, equipment, utilities and other running costs.
Last year, the fund supported 28 organisations across 16 wards in York.
