Role description:
We are looking for adult volunteers to support our Beaver colony!
2nd St Thomas has a thriving Beaver colony in the heart of York (based on Haxby Road, a 10 minute walk from York St John University), and we are looking for new adult volunteers to join our team. Whether you can spare an hour a month or an hour a week, we'd like to hear from you. Beaver team members help to deliver fun, engaging and safe activities for children aged 6 to 8 years old.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
No previous Scouting experience, or experience working with young people is necessary. All we ask for is a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in!

You will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and mandatory online training upon joining to be able to work with young people.
