Role description:
Collection Box Coordinator’s support Guide Dogs with displaying our iconic collection boxes in their local community, emptying, and banking the funds to help raise money for Guide Dogs.
This is a flexible role where you can dedicate as little or as much time as you want, based in your local community, allowing you to get out and about, networking with organisations to share our cause, encourage them to display our collection boxes, emptying and banking the funds in the collection boxes.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
We do require our Collection Box Coordinator’s to have good organisational and communication skills, to organise distribution of collection boxes.
Will there be a DBS check? No
Driving Licence required? No
Volunteer's own vehicle required? No

Guide Dogs will support you with this by providing training as part of your induction to the role, helping build your experience in communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedicated volunteer manager and fellow peers to help support you throughout your role.
