Civil Aid Voluntary Rescue Association (CAVRA) is a nationwide charity looking for volunteers based within their community to support our operations.

When are volunteers needed: 24/7 availability, but we understand family and work has to come first. We ask for a minimum availability of 24 hours a month.

Role description:
Volunteers will be trained in rescue, welfare and first aid skills which can then be used within the community in times of civil emergency.

We are specifically looking for volunteers with the below experience:
- 4x4 vehicle driving (and if a 4x4 vehicle is owned)
- Ambulance Staff
- Emergency Planning Training
- Previous member of a SAR team.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
- Professional
- Happy to be outdoors in all elements

Volunteer's own vehicle required? Yes
