When are volunteers needed: When am I needed?

The ecommerce office is located at our Clifton Moor Centre. It is open Monday – Friday 9:30am-4:00pm.

Morning shifts tend to run 9:30am – 12:00pm, Afternoon shifts tend to run 1:00pm – 4:00pm although other shifts can be accommodated as long as they are at least 2 hours in length. Weekly or fortnightly shifts are preferred.

Role description:
We are looking for volunteers to carefully photograph items to make them stand out online and ensure items are accurately represented. Our ecommerce department raises vital funds through the sale of pre-loved goods and sell thousands of valuable, rare and interesting items every year.

What will I be doing?
- Take high quality, visually striking images of a diverse range of products – from designer clothing to vintage toys, homeware and collectibles
- Arrange individual and large job lot items attractively
- Capture any item flaws to make sure listings are accurate
- Use a smartphone to upload pictures to eBay

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
What skills and qualities will I need?
- Comfortable using a smartphone along with other technology
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Be able to work independently and also as part of the wider ecommerce team.
