When are volunteers needed: We would like someone who can help once a week or fortnight, usually for two or three hours at a time, core times are 10-12pm or 2-4pm Monday to Friday, but we can be flexible to suit your availability. We can also accommodate hours on an ad hoc basis if it is difficult to arrange a regular shift.

Providing support to the Facilities Team
Washing and valeting St Leonards Hospice vehicles onsite
Carpet cleaning
High level dusting
Washing windows
Painting
Varnishing and caring for wooden benches
Gardening-assisting the facilities and gardening teams
Liasing with staff about maintenance requirements
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Be healthy, energetic and reasonably strong
Have a good level of practical skills
Be willing to do repetitive or less challenging tasks when needed
Enjoy being part of a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking team
Will there be a DBS check? No
