Role description:
The Fundraiser Volunteer role is part of a local Fundraising Group, who helps the local community to get to know Guide Dogs, as well as helping to raise funds for the charity.

The Fundraising Group organise and attend local events from facilitating bucket collections at various venues, running a stall, selling Guide Dogs branded items, including the cuddly toys, keeping track of what is sold, helping with counting donations, as well as distributing Collection Boxes to local businesses and be part of a group of like-minded people planning events and raising money for Guide Dogs.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Able to chat and tell people about Guide Dogs and why we need their support.

Be able to spread the word about your fundraising group's events on social media and in your local area.

Use your imagination and creativity to suggest new fundraising ideas that could raise money for Guide Dogs. All suggestions are welcome!

You’ll get to meet incredible dogs – from puppies and guide dogs in training to qualified guide dogs working in partnerships.

You’ll have a dedicated volunteer manager and a team of volunteers who all support each other.

Volunteering should never leave you out of pocket. We pay any expenses related to your volunteering with us, including travel costs.
