Role description:
The duties of this role include:
- Advertising
- Seeking sponsorship and grants
- Helping to promote the sport of bowls and the Club facilities as community asset
- Building and enhancing existing relationships with local businesses and organisations with a view to gaining sponsorship
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
- You need to be a good communicator who enjoys meeting new people
- Have IT knowledge and comfortable using social media
- Be organised and reliable with a positive attitude
- Be able to work alone

What will the volunteer gain/benefit from:
The volunteer will benefit from working with the Club's Trustees and Management Committee Officers, understanding the workings of a local charity providing bowling and other social activities, and facilities for the local community, business and other community organisations to use. The volunteer will also learn and develop skills in the preparation of business cases and applications for grants and sponsorship.
