Role description:
Help us spread the word about Family Fund events by displaying posters in local venues, businesses, community spaces and noticeboards.
We're looking for volunteers who enjoy being out and about in their local community and would be happy to visit a range of locations to promote our upcoming fundraising events. This is a flexible, one-off volunteering opportunity that can fit around your availability.
What You'll Do
Distribute Family Fund event posters across local communities.
Visit shops, cafés, libraries, community centres, businesses and other suitable venues.
Display posters on community noticeboards where permission is available.
Help raise awareness of Family Fund and our fundraising events.
Current events being promoted include:
Christmas Carols in aid of Family Fund
Remembrance Service with the Ebor Quartet in aid of Family Fund
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Skills and Experience
No previous experience is required. We're looking for people who are:
Friendly and approachable.
Reliable.
Comfortable walking around local areas.
Happy to speak with local businesses and community organisations.
Will there be a DBS check? No
