Role description:
The Wilberforce Trust is looking for enthusiastic and creative volunteers to help organise and run our quiz nights.

At The Wilberforce Trust, we hold monthly quiz nights for our tenants who have visual or hearing impairments, as well as other disabilities. Our quiz nights provide a fun and social opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy an evening of friendly competition. We are looking for volunteers to help keep the quiz running and bring new ideas and energy to this popular activity.

Whether you enjoy coming up with challenging questions, organising events, entertaining a crowd, or simply helping people have a great evening, we’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need previous experience of running quizzes or organising events. We will provide support and guidance to help you get started.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
• Friendly, approachable and able to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Good organisational skills and reliability.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Patient and adaptable, with an understanding of the importance of making activities accessible to everyone.
• A good sense of humour and a willingness to get involved!

We ask that you are reliable and committed to the activities you sign up for. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

We require you to provide two references, consent to an enhanced DBS check, and complete any training required for the role.
