This week is Refugee Week (15-21 June) and Refugee Action York (RAY) has a full week of online activities planned.
RAY will be busting some of the misconceptions about refugees and asylum seekers as well as hosting an online pub quiz on Tuesday 16 June to raise funds for the organisation. You can view the full digital event programme online but here’s a quick look at what they’ve got planned:
- 15 June – ‘Refugees in the time of COVID-19’ lecture
- 16 June – Online pub quiz in aid of Refugee Action York
- 17 June – Young Refugees and the COVID emergency
- 18 June – Virtual Poetry Festival
- 21 June – Young people’s art competition judging
- 21 June – Interfaith service
