The Student Internship Bureau team at the University of York are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of full subsidies to York or North Yorkshire based charities between March and July 2021.

This support is designed to increase the opportunities for local charities to engage University of York students in fully funded internships. Intern projects can be part or full time and can last between 4-8 weeks in total.

Virtual Projects

There is a lot of flexibility in terms of how a project can be delivered and in light of restrictions presented by the ongoing Covid pandemic, the Bureau has seen a lot of success with offering virtual projects as a safe and effective way of tackling a business challenge while hosting an intern remotely. This can offer flexibility for you and the intern for how and when the work is completed and potentially opens you up to a wider range of student talent.

Read some of our hints and tips for successful virtual projects and the types of roles and tasks that these work well for on the Internship Bureau webpages.
