We’re looking for new trustees to help us achieve our ambitions!
We have an exciting opportunity to join our board. Our trustees play an essential governance role determining our focus and strategic direction, as well as checking that our strategic aims are achieved.
We have an immediate vacancy for someone who currently works for a voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation that is a member of York CVS to join the board at our AGM in November. You could be a member of staff, trustee or volunteer.
We’re also planning ahead…
Three current trustees will stand down in 2025 after completing their maximum terms of office. We’re keen to attract candidates now so that there can be a smooth transition next year. You would initially attend the board as an observer before being formally appointed as a trustee at a later date.
All trustees need good judgement, the ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak their mind. If that’s you, please apply by sending us your completed application form and CV, explaining why you would be our ideal candidate.
