Role description:
We're an award-winning local history group with wide-ranging interests in the history of our neighbourhood - the Scarcroft, Clementhorpe, South Bank and Bishophill areas of York. Our activities include a regular programme of talks and a series of popular publications, together with ongoing local history researches. Details at www.clementshallhistorygroup.org.uk.
We’re looking to recruit a new trustee to take on the Treasurer role. This involves managing and monitoring the financial activities of the Group, as follows:
-Arranging payment of invoices received, using online banking (around 12 a year).
-Preparing a financial report of income and expenditure to the Trustees at their meetings and at the AGM.
-Supporting the Trustees in budget planning and monitoring, ensuring that the Group is financially able to function.
