As we get ready for Menopause Awareness Day (18 Oct) Take part in an introduction to Small Steps, Big Impact. It is a month-long wellbeing challenge designed to help you take meaningful, sustainable steps towards supporting your health during menopause and beyond. Rather than overhauling your lifestyle all at once, the focus is on honest reflection, small weekly actions and the power of shared accountability within our community.
Purpose:
To guide you through a 4-week challenge encouraging small, sustainable lifestyle changes around menopause wellbeing, focusing on nutrition, movement, sleep and stress.
Each week we’ll focus on a different area of Lifestyle Medicine: nutrition, movement, sleep and stress, all of which can make a real difference to how we feel day-to-day.
October 7 at 10am we will introduce you to the concept and start looking at our first topic, nutrition. There will be four further dates to cover the other topics and a final reflection.
Intro & Nutrition 7 October 11am – 12pm
Movement: 13 October 11am – 12pm
Sleep: 20 October 11am – 12pm
Stress: 27 October 11am -12pm
Review and reflection: 6 November 11am -12pm
If you would like to be a part of this 4-week challenge and can commit to some of the dates above. Please email hny.wellbeing@nhs.net
