Join in for a relaxed and welcoming day out at the Dosti (Friendship) Picnic, taking place on Sunday 28 September, 11am–3pm at York Museum Gardens, by the Pavilion (YO1 7FR).
This free, drop-in event is all about friendship, community and connection. Simply bring along your own picnic and something comfortable to sit on – a rug or chair – and enjoy the chance to spend time together in the beautiful surroundings of the gardens.
There will be plenty to see and do, with arts and crafts, traditional music, and even teapot yoga. You’ll also find NHS information and screening services available on the day, plus accessible facilities and a prayer room.
Come along with your picnic, join in the fun and make some new connections and memories. If you can’t stay for long, just pop in and say hi – everyone is welcome.
