Role description:
As part of the Street Team, you’ll take Jorvik Radio’s energy out into the community. You’ll attend local events, help capture photos and short videos, create social media content that highlights York’s people and projects, and encourage engagement online. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being out and about.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
You’ll need to be confident, approachable, and enthusiastic. Experience with social media, taking photos or videos, or writing short updates is helpful but not essential. Creativity, curiosity, and the ability to represent the station positively in public are key qualities.
