The National Deaf Children’s Society is offering community grants of £1,000 to £10,000 to support projects that bring together families of deaf children.
These grants aim to build strong, inclusive communities that offer early support. The early years (0–5) are a crucial time in a child’s development, especially for deaf children who may face challenges with language, communication and social skills without the right support.
This year’s funding focuses on initiatives that support deaf children aged 0–5. Projects can involve families, professionals, and older children, as long as they benefit early years development either directly or indirectly.
Applications are open on a rolling basis, with set assessment dates throughout the year. You can apply whenever you’re ready and will be told when to expect a decision.
If your group supports families of deaf children and you’re building a project focused on the early years, this is an opportunity to get funding that makes a difference.
