CAST and The Tech for Good Alliance have been talking to charities about their tech problems – and have discovered that many are facing the same ones, including writing case notes efficiently, running events, managing fundraising applications and creating impact reports. The Tech for Good Alliance has started building tools to address these shared challenges – and is also identifying other challenges across the sector.
With support from Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales’ Financial Resilience Fund, The Tech for Good Alliance can now offer free support to build new tools, or access the existing shared tools. They are particularly interested to hear from small to medium-sized charities – typically with a turnover of between £100,000 and £3m – which provide some support around financial resilience.
