One of York CVS’s key roles is bringing together Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations to connect, share knowledge and work together to strengthen our communities.

Our networks provide opportunities for organisations to:

  • Discuss current issues affecting the sector and our communities
  • Share knowledge, experiences and good practice
  • Develop skills and build confidence
  • Create partnerships and encourage collaboration
  • Identify gaps in support and services
  • Take collective action on issues affecting people across York

Developing new York VCSE Networks

The challenges facing our sector continue to evolve, and we are looking at new ways to support collaboration, connection and collective action.

Following the success of the York VCSE Homelessness Support Network, we are developing a range of new networks focused on specific issues and areas of interest.

These networks will bring together organisations with shared interests and experiences, creating space to learn from one another, explore common challenges and identify opportunities to work together.

We want these networks to be shaped by the organisations that take part, so we are keen to hear from VCSE organisations about the areas where they would value opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Could you be part of a York VCSE Network?

If your organisation would be interested in joining one or more of the new networks, please let us know.

Register your interest using the button below, and we will be in touch with details of the first meetings.

Your feedback will help us understand where there is interest across the sector and shape the networks around the needs and priorities of York’s VCSE organisations.
