The Movement, Activity and Sport Investment Programme is a £2.75 million programme, dedicated to reducing inequalities and improving wellbeing through increased participation in movement, activity and sport at all stages of life.
Funding is available for revenue, capital and workforce-focused projects between £3,000-£49,999.
Priority Groups
Projects should aim to benefit at least one of the fund’s priority groups:
- people living in rural communities,
- disabled people or groups requiring inclusive activity offers,
- women and girls,
- and people who may benefit from early intervention and prevention relating to health.
Projects related to early intervention around antisocial behaviour should apply to the Police, Fire and Crime Commission Community Fund rather than this programme.
Deadline
The second round of the fund opens to applications on 1 April 2026 and closes on 26 May 2026. Assessments will take place in June/July 2026, with decisions communicated in July 2026. We expect this to be the final round of the fund.
