We’re really proud to be taking part in Volunteers’ Week 2026 – saying thank you to volunteers across York for everything they do for our communities.
Volunteers provide essential support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations through their time, knowledge and skills. They bring energy, passion, and a range of abilities that improve the quality of services.
Volunteers also strengthen community connections and raise awareness by sharing the organisation’s mission with others. Overall, they help charitable organisations achieve more and make a bigger impact!
