What’s available?
Voluntary and community organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,500 from Cycling UK to support people to start or return to cycling. This could include bike repair sessions, learn to ride activities, group rides or other inclusive cycling events.
Who can apply?
The programme is open to not-for-profit organisations based in England, excluding London. It is aimed at supporting people who are less likely to cycle, including adults of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the joys of cycling and help make cycling become a normal travel option.
What is the maximum amount of funding you can apply for?
Grant funding up to £3,500 per application is available to support the delivery of events. Your funding amount will be shaped by your events plans and organisational costs. Every application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, however, as a rough guide:
- For a grant of £2,000, partners should be able to deliver at least six events
- For a grant of £3,500, partners should be able to deliver at least 10 events
