The Theatre Improvement Scheme is a capital grants programme run by Theatres Trust in partnership with the Wolfson Foundation. It aims to support UK theatres in delivering environmental improvements to their buildings, contributing to the industry’s transition to net zero.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to UK-based not-for-profit theatres. Eligible applicants must:
- Own or manage the theatre building
- Run a regular theatre programme
- Be a charity, non-profit or public body
- Demonstrate a clear case for environmental sustainability improvements
Funding available
Grants of up to £20,000 are available to support projects that enhance the sustainability and environmental impact of theatre buildings. Match funding is required.
