The Institute of Physics (IOP) Public Engagement Grant Scheme (PEGS) supports projects that engage whole family groups, including parents and carers, to improve their relationship with physics.

The scheme supports the IOP’s Limit Less initiative by funding activities that can showcase relatable role models, challenge stereotypes and preconceptions, and share positive messages about physics.

Priority will be given to projects reaching families with young people under 16 who identify with one or more of the following groups:

  • Girls and young women
  • Disabled young people
  • LGBT+ young people
  • Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Black Caribbean young people

Projects should demonstrate good public engagement practice, the ability to reach one or more priority audiences and positive impacts linked to the aims of Limit Less.
