Role description:
Baggage Marshal - Many runners choose to bring bags to our events so they have extra clothes to put on once they finish running. Baggage Eventeers will greet runners both pre and post race to either drop off or collect their bags from. Eventeers will sort bags into numerical order and be on hand post event to speedily reunite runners with their bags and congratulate them on a great run.
Finish Processing - Our friendly eventeers will be waiting at the Finish Line to reward all the finishers with their medal and goody bag. Eventeers will help to keep the flow moving through the finish line and back into the event village.
Sponge Station Eventeers - Asked to help set up and pack down the sponge station ensuring we leave the environment as we found it and clear of any debris. Eventeers will be ready for the first runner and the last with wet sponges or ice, keeping our runners nice and cool while also shouting words of motivation and support.
Race Office Eventeers - Help to handout race packs and be on hand to answer any questions. The Race Office is a customer-facing role so this role would be suited to Eventeers who are friendly, approachable and happy to chat with people. Local knowledge of the area is also advantageous!
