Role description:
Job Description:
· To assist with practical conservation tasks including, but not limited to; scything, coppicing, scrub clearance, tree planting, invasive species control and habitat maintenance.
· To assist with general site maintenance including path maintenance, litter picking, graffiti removal etc.
· To work with other volunteers and staff to manage our GCY sites.
· To talk to members of the public about St Nicks and the GCY project, or direct members of the public to someone they can talk to.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
· Enthusiasm for wildlife, conservation, or the outdoors.
· Friendly and approachable nature.
· Reliable.
· Able to get along with people from all backgrounds.
