Role description:
As a Scouts Volunteer with York Scouts, you will join a team of adult volunteers to plan and deliver opportunities for young people (ages 4-24) to develop life skills through fun and adventure. The role involves guiding young people, helping them build friendships, teamwork, resilience, and other skills. You'll be a positive role model, providing encouragement and support, especially during challenging times. Your tasks will include planning activities for young people and contributing to various aspects of leadership, programme planning, practical skills, and promoting positive behavior. You'll uphold the organization's values and follow safety, safeguarding, first aid, and data management guidelines.
