Role description:
Help a popular charity shop in the centre of York. We're looking for engaging, friendly people who are interested in working in retail that makes a difference!
Got some spare time? Meet new people and make friends.
Have the opportunity to get creative and assist in merchandising new displays.
Fan of vintage? Join us and work with everyone's favourite part of charity shopping, vintage clothing!
You'll have the chance to learn new transferable skills and update your CV with important experience employers are looking for. Including cash handling, stock management and customer service.
We are flexible and able to cater to most needs.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Volunteers must be over 18.
Eager to learn and develop themselves to help alongside staff and other volunteers.
Must be able to exhibit reliability and maintain attendance.
Co-operate with set tasks and communicate successfully to achieve a fun and productive working day.
Conduct themselves professionally and in a way appropriate for the workplace.
