Role description:
As part of Jorvik Radio’s behind-the-scenes technical crew, you’ll help ensure our broadcasts sound their best. You’ll maintain studio and IT equipment, help resolve software issues with the Myriad playout system, and assist with live show setups or outside broadcasts. Whether you’re checking signal quality, replacing cables, or troubleshooting sound problems during a show, your contribution keeps the station running smoothly.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Skills and Behaviours Needed for the Role: An interest in technology and audio systems is key. Confidence with IT, basic wiring, or sound engineering would be helpful, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important. You’ll need problem-solving skills, patience, good attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure when things don’t go as planned. Full training and support are provided.
