Role description:
We are looking for enthusiastic, approachable people aged 18+ to join our Youth Work Team as Volunteer Youth Workers. This role is ideal for students and young adults who want practical experience, transferable skills, and the chance to make a positive difference for local young people.
Ideal for: Students, future teachers, education professionals, healthcare, nursing or psychology students, and those interested in social work, youth work or counselling.
What you will do: Help run safe, inclusive and engaging youth sessions where young people can build confidence, learn new skills, and take part in positive activities and challenges.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
We are looking for people who are:
Reliable, friendly, approachable, good communicators, team players, and keen to grow in confidence while supporting young people.
Full support provided: Travel expenses paid, DBS check funded, First Aid and other training paid for, plus ongoing mentoring and support from experienced team members
