Our Acomb cafe runs on Wednesday mornings at Our Lady's Church on Cornfield Road.

When are volunteers needed: Wednesdays from 9.30 until 12.30 - the group runs from 10am to 12 noon.

Role description:
It's a drop in group for anyone who is experiencing cognitive changes or living with a diagnosis of dementia and those who support them. The aim of the group is to provide a social opportunity, alongside information, support and activity. Volunteers serve refreshments, chat to people and support with activities. It's a flexible role, where you will be part of a team, led by a Dementia Support Advisor.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Friendly, caring, empathetic, community minded.

Volunteer's own vehicle required? No
