Our Funding and Development Officer, Jane Granville (jane.granville@yorkcvs.org.uk) can provide free one-to-one support and guidance to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector groups and organisations on the following topics:

The following resources have been collated to provide information and guidance to VCSE sector groups and organisations.
Finance:
York CVS’s team and the Development Officer were brilliant in directing us to the information and resources we needed. From sharing knowledge in cash flow / excel spreadsheets and policies for CIC, to setting up legal structures and attracting different sources of income and revenue. Their team helped us navigate things like crowdfunding, as well as linking us up with other local groups. The list goes on, from training to social events, and plenty more. Setting up a CIC was very new and daunting to us, knowing that York CVS were there to support and answer any questions was a huge reassurance for us!

Payroll Services
York CVS no longer provides payroll support for organisations. Our payroll services transferred over to Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) who are able to provide payroll services to organisations in York. Please visit VAL’s website for more information.
