York Environment Festival is back from 3 October to 1 November 2026, bringing together local organisations, community groups and residents to celebrate nature, sustainability and environmental action.
With more than 100 free events taking place across York, the festival offers plenty of opportunities to learn something new, connect with others and get involved in local environmental activities.
The programme includes nature walks, wildlife activities, conservation projects, sustainability workshops, family-friendly events and much more.
The festival also celebrates the important work of local groups and organisations helping to make York a greener, more sustainable place.
