York Münster Twinning Association (YMTA) is looking for a location for a permanent mural to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the York–Münster twinning partnership in 2027.
Working with York BID and as part of York’s growing Art Trail, the mural will commemorate seven decades of friendship, cultural exchange and collaboration between the two cities, creating a lasting piece of public art for residents and visitors to enjoy.
YMTA is seeking:
- An exterior wall or surface with good public visibility
- Permission from the building owner or landlord
- Ideally, a blank, weathered or underused wall that could benefit from a colourful transformation
Hosting the mural could enhance a property’s appearance while contributing to York’s vibrant cultural landscape and helping celebrate a significant milestone in the city’s history.
