York CVS is inviting voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across York to join the York VCSE Neighbourhoods Network, bringing organisations together to help shape and develop the city’s new neighbourhood model.
As work continues to develop a more joined-up, neighbourhood-based approach to health, care and community support in York, it’s important that the VCSE sector has opportunities to share its knowledge, experiences and ideas.
The York VCSE Neighbourhoods Network provides a space for organisations to connect, collaborate and contribute to conversations about how services and support can better meet the needs of people living in our communities.
Why get involved?
VCSE organisations play an important role in supporting local people, understanding the challenges facing communities and helping residents access the services and opportunities they need.
By bringing organisations together, the Network aims to:
- Share knowledge, experiences and good practice.
- Discuss opportunities and challenges relating to neighbourhood working.
- Build stronger connections between organisations and services.
- Explore opportunities for collaboration.
- Help ensure the experiences and perspectives of the VCSE sector contribute to the development of York’s neighbourhood model.
Whether your organisation works directly in health and care or provides wider community services, your knowledge and experience can help shape how neighbourhood working develops across the city.
