Suicide Prevention Grant Fund for VCSE organisations

The government is due to launch a £10m Suicide Prevention Grant Fund for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations in England across 2023-24 to 2024-25. Smaller, community-led organisations are being encouraged to apply, and to sign-up to the , so that they receive notifications once the fund is launched.

The purpose of the fund is to support the VCSE sector to meet the increased demand, brought on by the pandemic and the Cost-of-Living crisis, and to support the development of innovative preventative activities/services aimed at people at elevated risk of suicide.

Guidance to help organisations apply to the grant will be published shortly and will set out the eligibility criteria, objectives and what is required as part of the application process. Webinars will also be held to answer any questions from prospective applicants.
